After a long week of punching the clock, Mr. Stevens set up a hammock he received for Christmas last year. It has been collecting dust all winter and is now basking in the shade of two large oak trees.
The smell of freshly cut grass and sound of birds chirping sends him into a soft sleep. The hammock creeks as it sways back and forth... releasing stress with every rotation. Nothing could have prepared him for this moment.
All of a sudden, a large crack sound is heard from above his head. He is startled from his nap and looks to see the source of the sound. He notices a large crack in the main supporting branch of the far left tree. He wonders to himself “Did I really need to eat all of those holiday cookies?”
